Rae graduated from Mahomet-Seymour High School (in Illinois) in 1983. She moved to Indiana in 1985, and has been a resident of Warren County for over 10 years. Rae worked in the Clerk's Office for 3 years. She has 17 years experience in bookkeeping, 10 years experience in office management, 22 years experience in customer service.

Rae is married to Troy Brown, a lifelong resident of Warren County, who graduated from Seeger in 1988. Troy and Rae have three daughters - Chelsea, age 11, Shelby, age 8, and Zoey, age 2. Chelsea and Shelby both attend Williamsport Elementary School where Rae is PTO President.

If she wins the election, she hopes to bring a sense of community to the Auditor's office. Rae hopes her past experience will speak for itself and the residents of Warren County will cast their votes for her on November 5.
