This first year phenom had round parking lights on the grille. The taillights were two sectioned.

In 1968 Chevy used rectangular parking lights. The taillights were similar to those of 1967.

In 1969 Chevy went back to the round parking lights but moved them
to the front valance. The taillights in 1969 were actually three sectioned. Also on the 1969 was a small "quarter panel side louver". They were located just in front of the rear wheels. |

Another option on the 1968 Camaro was hideaway headlights. They were behind grille-resembling
doors. Also the parking lights were then lowered to the valance, but remained square.. |
The 1969 Camaro also offered the hideaway headlight option. They were behind doors that unlike the 1968, did not resemble the rest of the grille. |
